A Message From Megan Arceneaux,

All my life, I have always had a passion for riding bikes. I realized, as I got older, I was intrigued by the mechanics of how the parts worked with each other to create motion. I spent summers fixing up old bikes with my dad at a young age, where he taught me how to repair and restore them.

 

I put these interests and skills to use when I began working at a local bike shop where I learned even more about the business side of cycling. When the owner told me he was thinking about selling the business,  I immediately contemplated buying it.

I knew early on that I wanted to do things a little differently. I wanted to create a communal space for cyclists of all ages and backgrounds to gather and celebrate the joie de vivre of living, working and playing here in Cajun Country. I wanted a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels welcome to celebrate our stories and culture through our shared love of cycling.
